Our yard sits on 115 Davis Cir SW, on the southwest side of Marietta near Fair Oaks. That location decides the shape of our day: Marietta itself — the county seat of Cobb County — along with Smyrna and Kennesaw, are close enough that a morning call often becomes a same-day delivery, while towns spread across the four neighboring counties are scheduled next-day routes rather than same-day work. We would rather tell you that plainly than promise a container by lunchtime and leave you waiting.
Greater Marietta looks genuinely different place to place when it comes to running a truck. Marietta itself mixes a historic downtown Square, established in-town neighborhoods and newer subdivisions on the outskirts, with Lockheed Martin's Marietta plant anchoring a lot of steady commercial and industrial work nearby. Cobb County towns closer in — Smyrna, Kennesaw, Acworth, Powder Springs, Austell, Mableton, Vinings, Fair Oaks — mix dense in-town lots with newer construction along the I-75 and I-285 corridors. Cherokee County towns to the north — Woodstock, Canton, Holly Springs — are some of the fastest-growing addresses in the region, with a steady mix of new-construction and remodel work. Paulding County towns to the west — Dallas, Hiram — combine established in-town lots with real acreage properties, Bartow County's Cartersville sits farther northwest along I-75, and Douglas County's Douglasville anchors the southwest corner of the footprint. Which towns do you deliver dumpsters to?
All 16 towns across the Marietta area: Marietta, Smyrna, Kennesaw, Acworth, Powder Springs, Austell, Mableton, Vinings and Fair Oaks within Cobb County itself, Woodstock, Canton and Holly Springs in Cherokee County, Dallas and Hiram in Paulding County, Cartersville in Bartow County, and Douglasville in Douglas County. Our yard is on Davis Cir SW, so Marietta, Smyrna and Kennesaw are the quickest, and towns farther out toward the edges of the service area are next-day rather than same-day.
Does it cost more to deliver farther from Marietta?
Distance is a real cost, so a Cartersville or Douglasville delivery is not priced the same as a Marietta one. What we will not do is hide it. You get the full number on the phone before anything is booked, and it does not change afterwards unless the load goes over the tonnage allowance you agreed to.
How far in advance should I book?
Right after a spring severe-thunderstorm line or an ice storm moves through, and during the busiest stretch of the building season, book as early as you can. Outside those windows you can usually get a container within a day or two. New-construction sites in growing areas like Woodstock and Dallas book out fastest, so plan ahead if you are working on one.
Can you deliver if I am not on the property?
Yes, and it happens constantly with rental properties, Atlanta-metro relocations and job sites where the owner is not on site. Mark the spot with a cone, a stake or a chalk line, tell us about gate codes and low limbs, and stay reachable by phone. The driver will call before setting the container down if anything looks wrong.
